Independent candidate clears signature threshold, pending verification, with broad and cross-party backing.
DEERING/FRANCESTOWN, NH — Tim Coffin, independent candidate for New Hampshire State Representative in District 27, has submitted signatures well above the required threshold to qualify for the November ballot. The total is now subject to verification by election officials.
At a house party on Sunday, supporters from Francestown and Deering came together to meet the candidate and mark the launch of his campaign. The strong turnout helped push the list of signatures backing Tim's nomination as an independent candidate well past the required number to turn in.
“Gathering signatures door to door has been very motivating,” said Coffin, “People don't sign a petition because they're being polite - they sign because they appreciate common sense. Every conversation made me more committed to representing this district.”
The strong turnout signals early momentum for a campaign built on practical, nonpartisan governance. Coffin has been on a “listening tour” across the two communities and is making responsive and genuine constituent representation the cornerstone of his platform and promise.
Coffin’s campaign now turns its focus to the fall election, continuing to build the broad coalition of Democrats, Republicans and Independents that made Sunday’s event a success.
